About the Artist

David has a Dance Degree from Bennington College and did graduate work in directing at Columbia University.  He has performed with dance legends Jose Limon and Anna Sokolow and with the NY Shakespeare Festival.  He created the Off-Broadway show “Hack and Other Stories” and was assistant director on the Broadway show “Paris is Out”.  He co-created the site-specific performances “Industrial Strength” and “Inventing America”  with writer Phil Boiarski.  He has performed throughout the USA and in Canada and Scandinavia.  He co-founded several Columbus-based movement companies including The Moving Arts Company, Auk, The New Mime Troupe and The Company of Artists.
